Eric R. Skocelas, DVM
Dr. Eric Skocelas received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998 from Mississippi State University. He then continued his education at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
Following his graduation in 2002, Dr. Skocelas joined the staff at Bluff Park Animal Clinic; he then purchased the practice from Dr. James Erwin in 2017. He is an active member of the Jefferson County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Skocelas and his wife, Sarah, have four children. Their pet family includes a dog named Silas and a cat named Lucius.
When he is not working at the clinic, Dr. Skocelas enjoys reading, hiking, watching and playing sports, and spending time with his family. He also appreciates music and enjoys playing his guitar and mandolin. The Skocelas family is a devoted Mississippi State family and members of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
